For almost 25 years, Cornucopia have been one of the leading voices of Noise music in Latin America. "Death Of The Moon" is our second collection of rare, split and previously unreleased tracks (after 2007's "Death Of The Sun"). This collection is a sincere document which showcases our diverse sound through the years.

Deep listening can reveal unexpected resonances among disparate phenomena. Here I am struck by the way fire and ice mirror one another in sound and motion on the thermal geysers track. The glacier hydrophone recordings also bear an uncanny animacy, as if one is eavesdropping on the waters chattering happily amongst themselves. Finally, in its hissing and drone-thundering, the waterfalls here shapeshift into powerfully moving gusts of wind. Dave Aftandilian

Illusion of Safety's "Organ Choir Drone" is a good release. I found it enjoyable, not too abrasive or anything, classic industrial music for the lack of a better term, or maybe just electronic music is better suited as it lacks the weight carried by the term 'industrial.' Hard to tell, and I don't feel competent enough to be coming up with genre names. It's a slightly distressing, anxious album with plenty of quiet, interesting synth layers. The final track sounds a bit odd to my ears. Dawid Scumwalski
